Yanick Herzog, aka OTHERNOISE, is a composer & sound designer for film and media. At the age of six he started his musical career as a drummer.
After ten years of training on the drumset, in the styles of rock and pop, he discovered cinematic and classical music.
Yanick then had René Wohlhauser teach him harmony and counterpoint, and Michael Künstle taught him composition.
In addition, he began to learn piano as a second instrument. Since September 2017 he has been studying composition for film, theatre and media with Till Löffler and Olav Lervik at the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK.

As a composer Yanick worked on various short film projects in the genres animation, documentary film and fiction. He has composed for several chamber music contexts, including woodwind quintets, string quintets, jazz combos.
